A downloadable game for Windows

Button Clicker is a work-in-progess clicker game where you click on a button.

As of now, that's the only real goal.

(for now, all you can do is hope that you get a higher score than everyone else)

(NOTE: This is an old version of Button Clicker, a new version (potentially even a sequel) is being planned. Chances are, the new version might not even go under the name of Button Clicker due to how generic it is.)

FUTURE FEATURES:

  • Button skins
  • Achievement system
  • In-game shop (to buy upgrades and etc.)
  • Dynamic gradient background (replacing the boring grey one), along with pre-made backgrounds (that can be purchased in the shop)
  • Ability to save progress to file
  • In general, more polish and bug fixes, etc.

CREDITS AND LICENSES:

  • This project uses the Roboto 3 Classic font, licensed under the SIL Open Font License v1.1.

Install instructions

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. After downloading the game's .ZIP file, extract the Button Clicker folder to a directory of your choice (it really doesn't matter where you extract it)
  2. Open the Button Clicker folder and click on the ButtonClicker.exe file to play.
  3. You're finished! You can now enjoy Button Clicker in all of its glory (keeping in mind that the game is still being developed and may be buggy).

NOTES:

Button Clicker is written in Python (specifically using Pygame), but has been packaged with PyInstaller, which should eliminate the need for installing Python directly (as everything is packed into the .exe file).
